Q: What should I expect?
Expect an awakening of the senses, an inner feeling of well-being. We’re here to guide you along in your experience, as well as show you how to take the spa experience home with you. This is your time to focus on you and discover just what you have been missing.
When receiving spa services at Utopia Day Spa, you will have your own bathroom, slippers and a comfortable robe to wear between treatments. When you enter a treatment room your therapist will step outside, allowing you to disrobe in preparation for your treatment. During your treatment you will always be draped to protect your privacy.
Enjoy the experience, wander with your thoughts, or converse with your therapist. Please express any discomfort, or special needs with your therapist.
Q: What should I wear?
You will need comfortable clothes to change into and a swimsuit if you plan on having a body wrap, bikini waxing or any of our water treatments. Please leave cellular phones and pagers turned off.
Q: What should I do?
Absolutely nothing. We invite you to imagine the possibilities – rejuvenate, relax and unwind in the ritual of the spa.
Q: What is the expected etiquette at Utopia Day Spa?
Consideration: Please respect the right to privacy and quiet of other spa guests. For your maximum pleasure and in consideration of other spa guests, it is recommended that small children do not accompany you on your spa experience.
Promptness: Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes before your appointment to prepare for your treatments. Arriving late will deprive you of precious minutes of your spa treatments. Your appointment will end as scheduled, so the next guest is not delayed.
Gratuities: In appreciation for outstanding service, gratuities may be offered at your discretion. Gift cards do not include gratuities.
Q: Do I need a reservation?
In order for us to serve you better, reservations are recommended.
Q: Are there any health conditions that I need to disclose before my day spa appointment?
Please be aware that if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure or a heart condition, services that involve the application of heat are not advised. We also need to be informed of any skin irritations, infections and/or injuries prior to your day spa treatment. Please consult your doctor first.
Q: Can I cancel my day spa appointment?
Because your space is reserved for you, a 24-hour cancellation notice is required for all spa services to avoid being charged for the service. Emergency cancellations are determined at the practitioner’s discretion.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, VISA and Discover. As a member of the Medford Area Chamber of Commerce, Utopia Day Spa also accepts MACC gift certificates. We honor Generations Gold - $3 off any massage.
Q: Where is Utopia Day Spa?
Utopia Day Spa is located on the western side of Medford, Wisconsin just off Billings Avenue on W. Brucker Street. Billings Avenue is about one half mile east of Medford Area Senior High off highway 64. Once on Billings, travel north two blocks to W. Brucker Street and turn left.
